Kiarah Moore, BEI Master, M.A.I.S. is a professional ASL/English interpreter and interpreter educator whose work sits at the intersection of interpreter education and professional practice.

With nearly a decade of professional interpreting experience, Kiarah works across a range of settings while also teaching and supporting emerging interpreters throughout the Houston area and beyond. As an interpreter educator, she has taught courses spanning interpreting skills, transliteration, specialized settings, professional practice, and field experience, and has coordinated practicum and internship experiences designed to help students navigate the transition from the classroom into the profession.

Her work as both a practicing interpreter and educator continually brings her face-to-face with the space between learning how to interpret and learning how to become an interpreter. LINK grew from that space.

Rather than relying solely on traditional, top-down mentorship, Kiarah created LINK to bring emerging and experienced interpreters into intentional relationship with one another—creating space for reflection, curiosity, professional dialogue, and reciprocal learning.
